Great Northern Mixed Use Center

Under the guidance of the Biskind family and with Mr. Biskind’s direct involvement, the strawberry fields of North Olmsted, Ohio were transformed into the thriving Great Northern mixed use center. Beginning with a 330,000 square foot strip center developed by Mr. Biskind’s father in 1957, Great Northern became a systematically planned complex of more than 2,000,000 square feet. The synergy of the super-regional mall, office, residential and hotels created the enhanced value of a carefully crafted mixed use development. In the space of seven years the value of the portfolio grew from $36,000,000 to $175,000,000 through judicious expansion and value added development measures.
